1.The Lion''s Head Mountain Visitor Center was opened in 2001. It was built over the former Shishan Elementary School and designed to retain the Hakka style. In addition to the facilities, the restaurant, Xixin Tea House is appended to the Visitor Center, offering dining and refreshment services to the public.
2.From the Visitor Center (4.55K mark of Hsinchu County Expressway No. 41), the path at the right side leads to the Shuilian Cave (Waterfall Cave at Fanyin Temple). It is a natural arch cave at the lowest elevation point among the mountain clusters of Lion''s Head Mountain. A circle of the trail measures approximately 1,350 meters.
4.The shrine of this temple is set into a cave; therefore, natural spring water flows out from underneath the shrine. The sweet cool water is refreshing and the sculptures of child monks make this place very friendly and welcoming to visitors.
5.This trail spans across Miaoli County''s Nanzhuang and Hsinchu County''s Lion''s Head Mountain Historic Trail (Emei Township). The trail is accessed from the entrance arch at Nanzhuang Township, Miaoli County.This trail crosses the borders of Miaoli and Hsinchu Counties at the Moon Pavilion, and the length spans approximately 3500 meters.
